ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The owner of a well-known local bakery hopes someone can identify two burglars who broke into his business early Wednesday morning.

Surveillance video caught the thieves inside the Golden Crown Panaderia on Mountain Road. Once inside, they made their way to the cash register and took all the cash. The owner, Christopher Morales, said it was “a lot” of money.
The burglars then took off. The video shows one of the thieves has a tattoo.

Morales said there was also a girl who kept watch outside. He says he’s aware of the surge of crimes against businesses in the city, but he’s relieved no one was hurt.
